The death of the pregnant elephant in Kerala has given rise to anger and outrage across India and also the world. Humanity is dead and buried, said shocked netizens over the gory death of the beautiful animal.
Merely the thought of this abhorrent act gives me chill bumps out of fear. Imagine what that innocent creature might have gone through when the explosive wrapped in the food would have exploded inside her body.
But Yes, She was at fault that she trusted the wild Humans to satiate her hunger, and she paid for this. Trusting some heinous Beings costed her life.
She was injured, yet she did not tried to harm any human settlement. Maybe, so true that ‘Animals are less wild and Humans are less humans these days’.
This is such a ghastly act, infact crime. This incident needs to get uncompromising attention so that the culprits may get severe punishment that might create a lasting impression on their minds , so that ever after if they think of repeating such act, the thought of getting punished would stop them.
This is really disheartening and makes us sick to the core. There have been several animal abuse incidents in India in last few months and unless a strict action is taken against the offenders these abuses and assaults on animals will never stop.
At-last, just a request, Teach your children to be compassionate for Nature as well, So that when they grow up they would be generous for every living creature and not just for humans becoz their lives matter equally as yours.
